Thermal safety device
function
The thermal relief valve is a fitting for limiting the water temperature in multi-fuel or solid fuel boilers with a built-in heat exchanger or cooling coil.
When the temperature reaches 95°C, the valve releases as much domestic hot water as necessary to keep the boiler temperature within the safe range.
The valve complies with EN 14597 and can be used in systems with solid fuel boilers with a heat output of less than 100 kW, in accordance with standards EN 12828 and EN 303-5.
